Key Intervention/Focus Area

Capacity building and group formation , mobilization , Awareness raising (Information, Education and Communication)

Description of Program/Projects

  1.  Conduct training for health workers, FCHV,  teachers, traditional healers, and  community leaders on HIV/AIDS and STI prevention.
  2. Provide information on HIV transmission, prevention, symptoms, and treatment for HIV/AIDS and STI. 
  3. Provide training to health workers to improve their understanding of human rights problems connected to HIV/STI, AIDS, and STI.
  4. Conduct and support to organize community meetings, school health programs, broadcasting radio and TV airing and jingles, conduct social media campaigns, and distribution of pamphlets and posters related to HIV/AIDS and TB .
  5. Support to mobilize Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) to provide outreach services on HIV/AIDS and STI.
